You
had your computer crash and had to re-install Windows or you have a new computer
and need to transfer your Digital Product to the new computer.
Your Digital Product Authorization is stored in your system registry and other
places on your computer. Once your eBook or eMap is authorized on our server it
can not be re-authorized unless your ORDER ID is renewed and we give you
permission to authorize it again. If you try to install it without renewing it
you will get a message during Authorization saying the ORDER ID is invalid or
has been used before. This is to prevent unauthorized installations. Click the
link below to renew your eBook or eMap ORDER ID. After we receive your request
we will respond in 1 - 2 business days.
Renew eBook or eMap ORDER ID
If you
install a Version 2.1 eBook or eMap (Can be found on the front of the CD)
and have Adobe Reader 7.0 installed prior installing it you will need to install
a patch that can be found on our website. There is no error message displayed
by this problem. After authorization Adobe Reader 7 will try to open briefly and
then it will shut down. Installing the patch will fix the problem. The patch will
update the Digital Product Version 2.1 software to work with Adobe Reader 7. If
you are receiving a FOPEN_fLock error when opening the eBook or eMap install the
patch and it will fix this problem also. If
you update Adobe Reader to version 7 after authorization and you are experiencing
problems please install the patch described above and it will solve the problem.
